What makes PE special: Despite being a small school, Moggerhanger has a vast variety of equipment for the children to use, which means some unusual sports can be learnt, such as Tchoukball. This gives the children a new and different way of learning key skills, rather than just through the traditional sports.
What also makes PE so special at Moggerhanger is the children themselves! As a PE teacher I have never met such fun, energetic and respectful children, who seem to love their PE lessons just as much as I love teaching PE and sports. It is this atmosphere which I long for as a PE teacher, as it leads me to believe that the children will keep that love and enjoyment as they progress and develop into future years and secondary school. Miss Corke.
Year 5 and 6 off on the minibuses with Miss Corke for one of their two P.E lessons per week at Sandy Secondary School. Being part of a the Greensand Federation with Sandy is so great for the children's education and transition to secondary!
